More Young's...

What did I do for my birthday today?  Well, I chaperoned a girl scout field trip to Young's Dairy...what's more fun than that ;)  The girls had fun, and I indulged in some tasty ice cream!

Today we had not one, but two Girl Scout field trips to Young's Dairy.  Both Maren and Carsyn went with their troops.  Maren got to go on a hayride, while Carsyn went through the corn maze.  Both girls enjoyed some delicious ice cream.  It was hard to balance time with both, but I think everyone had fun!

Young's Family Picnic...

This afternoon we went to Young's Dairy for Barry's company family picnic.  The girls had a blast eating ice cream, going through the corn maze, and playing mini-golf.  Of course, I won ;).  Afterward we stopped by the sunflowers to take some pictures (along with about 50 other people).  Then the girls had a night game to cheer for.  Fun times...

Berry Picking...

 We went out to Yellow Springs today to pick berries.  The girls had a blast finding juicy raspberries!  I think they ate about as many as they collected ;).  I was impressed that they didn't let all the bees scare them...the same could not be said for me.  Afterward we went to Young's for ice cream.  What a fun day!

End-of-Season Volleyball Party...

The girls played hard on Sunday, forcing the match to go to three games, but ended up losing.  So, our season is over.  It was a really good season.  The girls worked really hard, learned a lot, and made tons of improvements.  Coach Andy took the girls out of ice cream this evening at Young's to celebrate their achievements!

We always love going to Young's Dairy...especially when it's their birthday, and they roll back the prices!  The girls really enjoyed their waffle bowls filled with their favorite flavors.  Yum!

Pumpkin Patch...a Little Late...

We took the girls to the Pumpkin Patch today.  Typically we would have done this much earlier in the season, but it just never worked out.  Unfortunately all the pumpkins had been picked from their vines, so we could only choose from the ones there.  The girls were a little disappointed that we didn't get to go on the hayride and pick our own.  But, the ice cream made up for it a bit.  It was also fun watching daddy take a few swings in the batting cage...until he hit a ball off his ankle...ouch!  That was hilarious not funny.

Fun at Young's...

We had such gorgeous weather today, so tonight we wanted to go somewhere and enjoy it. We ended up driving out to Young's Dairy for some ice cream and to see the animals. The girls were thrilled to see two sets of baby goats--so cute. They also didn't mind the ice cream cones. So much fun!

Family Fun Day...

This afternoon we took the girls out to Young's Jersey Dairy for their 142nd birthday. In honor of that, they were serving waffle cones for only $1.42. They were huge. The girls just love going out there. Afterward we went bowling at the lanes on base. It was so nice because there weren't many people there at all. The girls had a great time. What a fun day!
