Memorial Day=Pool's Open...

Since we were in Indy for the race (and always will be), we missed the opening of the pool.  So, today was our first pool day.  It was hot, and the girls had a great time with friends.

The teachers had an in-service day today, so the kids had no school. The girls had a blast with all their friends from school.

Today was one of the last pool days before school starts, maybe even for the summer...boo. You know how I measure the quality of a summer? By how tan we are...we've had a great summer! ; )

Back to Life, Back to Reality...

We are back and slowly adjusting to being back at home in Ohio. It's weird not being able to walk out to the beach to run each morning; the streets just aren't the same. We are keeping pretty busy--unpacking, cheer practice, and catching up on pool time.

We celebrated the last day of school with a trip to the pool. There were tons of the girls' friends doing the same thing. Hopefully we'll have beautiful weather this summer with many more swimming days! Happy Summer!

First Pool Day of the Season...

The pool opened this weekend, but we were in Indy for the first three days. So today we headed over there--even though we knew it would be packed--and it was! But, the weather was gorgeous and the girls had a blast hanging out with friends.
