Snow Fun...

After the huge weather system that moved through California last weekend and dumped nearly 10 feet of snow in the mountains, we decided to take a drive and let the girls play in it. We drove to Sequoia National Park to a snow play area. The weather was pretty mild, there was still tons of snow. We borrowed a few sleds and tubes and just had a ball. This was Maren's first time playing in the snow and Carsyn's first memorable time. Maren loved being pulled around in her sled. Logan and Carsyn had fun trying to build a snowman, making snow angels, and throwing snowballs. It was a workout trying to get up the hill because the girls refused to walk, so mommy and daddy had to drag them up in the sleds. But, it sure was fun going down. Even Maren went down with us. She loved it. She didn't want to walk around in it, but she was quite content sitting in her sled and touching it with her mittens. What a fun time, and such a beautiful place!
