Last trip to Disneyland (for a while)...

About an hour after Logan got out of school on her last day, we loaded up the car for our last trip to Disneyland before we moved out of California and before our annual passes expired. We had dinner reservations at the Blue Bayou Thursday night. It's the restaurant that you go through during the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. We have always wanted to eat there, but never made reservations in time. So, when we were there last month we set it up for this time. The girls were great and are back to loving 'Pirates.' We must have rode it four times that night.

Waiting for dinner...
We spent all day Friday at both parks trying to do all of our favorite things. Unfortunately, It's A Small World was still closed, but everything else was running. Logan rode Splash Mountain for the first time--we got pretty wet! Carsyn rode Soarin' and Thunder Mountain for the first time. Finally, she was tall enough (well, not really...we just put some sandals with a heel on her.) She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time, but claimed she didn't like them. Maren was still afraid of Mickey and Minnie and those guys. She and Carsyn also went to Playhouse Disney Live, which they LOVED while daddy took Logan to the High School Musical pep rally! We even discovered a ride that we had never been on before. (I'm kind of embarrassed to say, because on base I'm known in some circles as the Disneyland guru!) It was the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. It's tucked back in the corner of the park behind Splash Mountain. It's a great kids' ride and there was absolutely NO line. We rode it five times in a row. We stayed for the Fantasmic water/laser show and fireworks before walking back to our hotel. It was a great last trip. We sure are going to miss Disneyland!

We always have time for Minnie...
