Blue Ribbon Day...

After school we went to the National Zoo for their annual "Boo at the Zoo!" The girls were so excited to get dressed up. We had so much fun trick-or-treating at the zoo. They were giving away some really great stuff. We all received bottles of water, juice boxes, organic cereal bars, granola bars, bags of chips and Cheetos, cotton candy, HSM3 posters and tattoos, ice cream bars (although it was a little cold for that), and way too much candy! We were also able to see all the lions and tigers out. Inside the elephant house we saw the elephants and an enormous hippopotamus. It was a really good time.

Boo at the National Zoo...

Friday morning we took the girls to a huge pumpkin patch and outdoor fun park. There were giant slides, corn mazes, hay rides, a petting zoo, yummy food, and tons of pumpkins. The girls loved it!

Afterward we went to see the long awaited, High School Musical 3: Senior Year! Logan and Carsyn LOVED it. Maren and Daddy only last about 15 minutes before falling asleep and missing most of the movie. It was a pretty good movie--we definitely recommend it!
We're all in this together...

We had plans to do some fun outdoor stuff on Saturday, but it rained all day. So we just relaxed at home and went out to dinner in Alexandria for Mommy's birthday.
Sunday after mass Logan had her last cheer game of the season. It was a beautiful day for it. Afterward Carsyn, Logan, and Mommy went over to our friends from ballet class while Daddy, Nana, and Maren did some canvassing for Barack Obama!

What a fun Fall weekend we had!
